I remember that day very well. The March for Justice was an awesome event. Thank you very much!!
By the way, the 1997 sign-up dates were the day we implemented our new registration system. We had been operating for about a year before that on the honor system without requiring registration. But that was before the lib troll invasion.
That's right - I remember that now!
I went to work in a new job in 1996 and then changed assignments in 97. It was sometime in 1997 that I ran across FR, and I think it was from something I saw at The DrudgeReport. (...things were way different then of course...)
I know I lurked for several month before I finally felt compelled to post a reply or article myself and signed up.
Who would have every imagined someone could make Jimmah look "not as bad" in comparison? Who could have ever imagined that I would ever say I'd rather have had Hillary as president?
But with both Ted Cruz winning here on Tuesday, and then Chick-Fil-A day on Wednesday, MAYBE this year is headed to the beginning of moving away from the point of no return down the slippery slope. I hope so and will do what I can to make it happen.
Thanks to you and all who keep FR online!
And I know how you feel about the nominee, but still - ABO!
I too remember that day. The Veterans Flag March (and I'd still like a copy of any video of that), marching along side you as you PROUDLY carried the US Flag, the piper playing, the Service Flags, the State Flags of all 57 states (:)), the HUGE crowd, meeting and listening to conservative speakers like Alan Keyes, Bob Barr, Ann Coulter (the latter two have done some really dumb things since). What a day that was!
Even back then, WE WERE THE TEA PARTY!!!! You've brought this site a long way since those days!
Where liberty dwells, there is my country." Benjamin Franklin
I also remember the March for Justice very well, and all the good friends that I met for the first time!
I remember that I wanted to carry the Indiana or Florida flag, but they were taken, so I carried an extra Colorado flag.
Thanks for the walk down nearly 14 years of Memory Lane, pal ...................................... FRegards
