Just because they don't have to do it doesn't mean that they can't still do it.

Chicago mob has to get credit for being consistent.
They are totally predictable.

When you ride a tsunami of MSM support, it’s unlikely that any tactic/violation/outrage will receive criticism.

If these companies are smart, they’d send out the notices REQUIRED by law and paid no heed to advice from Obama’s political appointees.

I wonder how many folks have figured that “Chicago Values” is a punchline?

If sequestration does happen and Northrop Grumman lays me off without the required 60 day notice I will be suing them and Federal govt. Any of my fellow Freepers who work for Defense Contractors shoud do the same if it happens to you also.

Sequestration (major defense cuts) would hit January 1. Minimum 60 day notice, roughly November 1. He is telling companies they don’t have to announce cuts until after the election.

Labor Dept. doesn’t have the authority to excuse companies from the WARN Act.
It would be an insufficient defense against employee lawsuits.

Hey, how about instead of cutting the defense let’s just cut Obama. It would save our country trillions.

Thank Goodness the purple lipped prince is surrounded by idiots.

How does this not bite him in the as$...Instaed of risking alienating thousands of those being laid off, he is going to alienate all of them as they sit on pins and needles waiting to find out if they get the door.

I don't see that making Choombama popular with anyone in the industry.

Must be nice to be able to pick and choose which laws you’re going to obey and which to ignore - the way our president, sworn to uphold the constitution and all its laws, has been doing for three and a half years.......
