But Sebastian Coe, the London 2012 chairman, played down the incident and said she would have had to have gone through strict security checks to get into the stadium.
"She should not have been in the opening ceremony but don't run away with the idea that she sort of walk in off the street to be able to do that, she hadn't," he said.

Reminds me of when Khrushchev came to the US and some man managed to slip past security and get into many of the photos with him.
He later appeared on one of the quiz shows, I think it was I'VE GOT A SECRET, and showed where he was in many of the photos.
