Ate tonight at the Chick-Fil-A at roughly the corner of FM1960 and North Eldridge in Cypress, Texas, a suburb of Houston.
Everyone was as happy as could be. I had my first Peach Shake tonight and it is not just a drink but a work of art. It has pieces of peaches in the shake and it is stunning.
We saw a member of our church in front of us and it turned out that his family was at home waiting for the big delivery. As we left, we drove along the line of cars waiting to go through the drive thru and waved at them as we went by. Many of them cracked up. One big happy family.
The inside was jammed with people, all having fun as they ate and we talked with a very nice man who was picking up the trays as people finished. It was a great experience.
As we left about 8:00 PM the drive thru line had increased to about 120 cars.
A great night in Texas! For God and Country!
Almost the exact same thing for us in the Willis, Tx. area. We went inside to eat..it was packed inside and out and a great family atmosphere. Had a blast and great food.
I was at the same CFA too around 7:15. Stood in line for about 15-20 minutes outside and about 10 minutes inside. The drive-through was serpentined through Walmart’s parking lot.
The crowd was great, the service was great, the greeter was an elderly man who came to the door shaking everyone’s hands thanking them for supporting CFA.
The CFA I had lunch at (Sugar Land TX) was VERY appreciative of the HUGE crowd, too. Happy to give my biz to these fine folks.
WOO-HOO!
Thanks very much for your report!!!
I spoke with the same guy about politics and religion. He was great and it was wonderful. We said that he looked familiar and he replied that he was not a Cathy. He did act as if he owned the place, so...
