Congratulations to Ted Cruz! This is a victory both for Ted and for the grassroots Tea Party movement. This primary race has always been about the kind of leadership we need in D.C. Our goal is not just about changing the majority in the Senate. It is about the kind of leadership we want. Ted Cruz represents the kind of strong conservative leadership we want in D.C. Go-along to get-along career politicians who hew the path of least resistance are no longer acceptable at a time when our country is drowning in debt and our children's futures are at stake. The message of this race couldn't be clearer for the political establishment: the Tea Party is alive and well and we will not settle for business as usual. Now, it's on to November!
Wonder if the PDS will get better or worse for a lot of people ;)
They work for us. We are not their slaves!
Got me convinced, now convince the government.
Still work to do Tea Party Patriots! Next is for Steelman in Missouri in their Primary which Sarah has already endorsed. Then to Georgia for the new seat addition (District 9. Martha Zoller, radio talk show host and Tea Partier is going to a runoff against a guy named Collins who is an establishment guy from the Deal administration.
Hopefully, Sarah will see this race and get behind another true conservative and would make Zoller the first Republican woman from Georgia in the House.
Any others out there? Lets organize an action list and get behind these people as well.
Looks like Mack in Florida but I don’t consider him to be of a conservative stripe but he can beat Nelson and if so, with the current list of shoe-ins the Senate goes back to the Republicans.
How sad that Dick Cheney, who has truly been a hero of mine since I was just a girl! He must have suffered from some O2 deprivation... trashed Sarah.
Ass, thank God for Liz!
Sadly, some cannot shake their PDS, as it runs so deep.
I respect a lot of what DC has done for America. But his insistence on sticking to ‘the party’ instead of the country is a huge letdown for me. Once upon a time, when ‘the party’ stood for the things we believe in, that was a good thing. But those times are behind us. Today, ‘the party’ stands for the same things the Dems did 20 years ago. They were the wrong things then and suicidal now.
While Palin is not perfect, she is 90%+ correct on her political views IMO. And I wish she was the GOP nominee. But the old guard ‘party before principle’ BS has prevented that. So far. But id she keeps building up all these wins, by 2016 she may need none of the old guard at all.
I hope.
This is how the New York Times covered this massive upset as far as Palin goes.
This is their only mention of Palin.
“With indications that an upset was likely, Tea Party celebrities including Sarah Palin, Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina, Glenn Beck and Rick Santorum came to speak on Mr. Cruzs behalf over the last several days.”
Let them keep right on believing that. Only hurts their future viability as a company and a political force ;)
I actually want them to keep this crap up. It’s working so splendidly....for us.
Figure it out, Sarah is doing everything she can to keep a new party from popping up.
She’s rebuilding the GOP.
PDS is a terminal disease.
I have yet to see one PDSer on FR or anywhere articulate the logic in trashing and undermining a person whose politics are lockstep with conservative values. Especially one with her level of power/influence.
But they sure do seem to love repeating the lib/msm BS. I wonder why.
I agree, Palin is fighting to take the GOP party and to Reaganize it.
starting with no name ID and outspent 3-1!
Cruz rocks
