The ball is now in your court. In just over thirty days, the Republican party will name Mit Romney as it's nominee. You probably will not be welcome at their convention but you can take the opportunity to announce a new political party. The Tea Party! Then announce that YOU are to be the Tea Party Candidate for President.

And that would doom any third party effort. Take a look at the history of the demise of the Whig party and the rise of the GOP during the 1800s. A third party needs more than just a single candidate (the Libertarians should be able to attest to this)
