"Bullets are to cartridges as cement is to concrete, as flour is to bread, etc. When will everyone learn?"
When most writers hired for news reporting by news publications are healthy, heterosexual men again. News should be reported by analytical minds. That's not likely to happen before the bond collapse and remainder of default process, though, because most of the bosses and sponsors are queers.

"The Department Of Homeland Security Is Buying 450 Million New Bullets" No, they are not. They are buying 450 million rounds of ammunition, which happens to incorporate shellcases, primers, powder and bullets. A "round" is known as a "cartridge". Multiple cartridges are known as "ammunition". If they bought ammunition then, as bullets are a component thereof, they bought bullets too.

He'll use executive fiat, executive order, or he'll find some government agency to do his bidding much like he used the EPA to impose environmental mandates that he couldn't get through Congress. Yeah, and I'll bet I know how: He'll force the USPS, and pressure UPS and FedEx to not ship the ammo. Buy it online all you want, but you can't get it shipped. That's the Chicago Way.

“”...By Mr. LAUTENBERG...”
Does this rancid old piece of dog crap just SIT and wait by the phone for news of the next shooting, and then come running to the Hill to bring up another gun ban bill?
I mean really - what useful purpose does this worthless old codger serve, other than being a rubber stamp Democommie?
Hey New Jersey - one of your lunatics escaped from the Fruits and Nuts Playhouse. Recall him and do the rest of the country a favor..

Does this rancid old piece of dog crap just SIT and wait by the phone for news of the next shooting, and then come running to the Hill to bring up another gun ban bill?Nah, people that do that for him. They just use him as the willing, duped mule who is still searching for relevancy in his dwindling "career".
You don't think that he actually wrote that bill, do you?
Some gun grabbing liberal sycophant has the bills written up, ready and waiting for the right event/crisis.
The same thing happens with almost every bill put forth. All the writers are looking for is someone to sponsor the bill and people rarely ever find out who actually composed the bill.

STOP THE ‘BILL’ MADNESS!!! I’m SICK of these pompous politicians and their G-damn INSTA-BILLS following major news events. Knee jerker jerk-offs!! RESTRAINT was of key importance to our Forefathers.

We already went down this road in the 80’s. You had to buy ammunition face to face, and state if it was to be used in a handgun or a long gun. Your information was taken down and recorded.
It was a complete flop, and people got so tired of it that it was repealed in the Reagan era. Complete waste of time, designed for no other purpose but to make it difficult to exercise your right to keep and bear arms, and to build a data base to harass gun owners.

Yeah, and the rest of the automobile came with the last rear bumper that you purchased. Juvenile word games add nothing to the discourse.

...and it’s easier to buy Lortabs and Vyvanse than Sudafed. Opioids and amphetamines require less BS to buy than decongestants.
Coming to an ammo store, by edict, near you. Got yer lead stamps?

It's not going anywhere. Too many in his own party either hunt or have constituents that would be against Obama's bill.

Yeah, and the rest of the automobile came with the last rear bumper that you purchased. Juvenile word games add nothing to the discourse. It's not a juvenile word-game; you yourself said that the bullet was a part of the round and that multiple rounds were 'ammunition'.
But the example is reminiscent of some British humor. "I just bought a bumper, sadly it was attached to a Volvo."

Yup, a lightning bolt from the ether splitting the Muzzie’s camel...with him riding it...
And personally, I think he is himself the final straw...November 6 should prove to be very interesting...

I buy online, though some of my best shotgun ammo deals have been at gun shows.

I know how to find bills. Pick "Text of Legislation" at your link and you get this...
The text of S.3458 has not yet been received from GPO
Just @as I said...
No bill text yet that I can find.
