Accidental crime? You've been watching too much CNN and/or PBS. Accidental crime like crossing through a post-office parking lot, getting mugged there, and after defending himself being arrested for "illegally carrying a firearm on federal property". Stuff like that.

Accidental crime? You’ve been watching too much CNN and/or PBS...I don’t think so. My brother in Tacoma, who had registered pistols, shot a guy in Tacoma, WA for breaking into his house at 0230Hrs. Didn’t kill him, everything was legal but he was arrested for discharging a firearm within the city limits.
