A busload of illegal immigrants has begun a month-long, cross-country tour of protests culminating at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., according to reports.
Approximately 30 men and women departed Phoenix, Ariz., on Sunday on a trip scheduled to hit states that have passed aggressive laws against illegal immigration, reports the Charlotte Observer.
The bus will pass through Colorado, New Orleans, Atlanta and several other cities en route to Charlotte, just before the start of the convention on Sept. 3, according to USA Today.
We are tired of the injustice, Fernando Lopez, an illegal immigrant who is originally from Mexico but now lives in Phoenix, told the Observer. We are tired of the indignity.
The civil-disobedience demonstrations during the convention will take place in Mecklenburg County, N.C., where police officers check the immigration status of those who are arrested. But a spokeswoman for the sheriffs office there told the Observer that officers will only detain illegal immigrants whove been arrested for committing a crime.
If I lived in a sane state, the North Carolina State Police and the Charlotte PD would meet them at the city limits and arrest the lot of them, and impound their bus to truck them back over the border at gunpoint.

Undocumented mothers, fathers, students, sons and daughters will challenge the champions of hate with stories, voices, and action through key states in the Southern US because were tired of facing deportation, harassment, and being taken from our loved ones and were ready for a new day.
We will challenge sheriffs, we will challenge anti-immigrant laws, we will set an example of courage we hope the country will be brave enough to follow.
Learning how to take Blood pressure is easy as ABC...Ilegals, in videos 4 people tell their stories. Here is one..Ive been here half of my life. I could say most of my life Ive been here in Arizona. My parents brought me here for a better life. I have a son who I think deserves the same that my parents wanted for me.
My name is Natally Cruz. I am 24 years old. Ive been in the United States for sixteen years. I have a seven year old son and I live with my aunt and uncle.
Once I graduated from high school, I was unable to go to school. I was unable to work because I didnt have a social security number.
I got involved with Puente two years ago when SB1070 started. What made me really want to get involved was the part that we could be discriminated against just by the color of our skin.
To me, it was really important to learn about the health issues because most of our community members do not have insurance to be able to help themselves if they get sick or something. The basic that we learned was like the high blood pressure, how to take it ourselves.Im going to get arrested because I am tired of living in fear. I am tired of all these laws that are passing not just here in Arizona but in the whole United States. And most of all for my family and my community.
I want them to know that we are not just doing this for ourselves, for our families, but for them too. We have seen so many families being separated each and every day. And people like the ones who are going to get arrested are the people who are being deported every day.
We want them to know we are coming out of our fear. They can come out as well.

To be fair, how many Americans can tell their stories. Americans have seen so many families being separated each and every day, due to hit and runs, drunk driving, domestic abuse, child molesters, using stolen documents etc,etc.. The illegals try to make it all about them.Leaving out they have cause and created problems for thousands of Americans
