A guy selling tickets to a concert in Dallas is not what most newscasts would deem news. Bruce Springsteen and Toby Keith do twice that much on most any night during the summer.
Of course not, 50 people in front of a Chik-fil-A is much bigger news to them.
Pay attention to me!
Network news has become irrelevant.
Glenn did yoeman’s work educating the country at FNC, but jumped the shark with his bullet-proof vest and security detail at “Restoring Honor” in DC, IMHO.
I think it is noteworthy to look at the media’s attention given to the Westboro Baptist Church members protesting the Beck event. When these cult whack jobs start calling Beck a false prophet, the media writes down every word to attack Beck. When they talk about God’s punishment for homosexuality, the media uses Westboro Baptist Church to paint every Christian with the same cult whack job brush. In effect, Westboro Baptist Church has put itself in the position of being a tool for the State Owned Media. It is pretty creative of the State Owned Media, I give that to them.

I was there. The atmosphere was electric. I’ve never been around such a cohesive, service-oriented, uplifting, and motivated group of people. Of the 65,000 - 70,000 people from all 50 states and 20 foreign countries in attendance at the main event in Cowboy Stadium, about 35,000 were there early on Friday, in 100 degree heat, to volunteer their time, effort, and expertise in a day of service to thousands of area individuals, churches, nursing homes, and other organizations. When some logistical problems arose in getting 35,000 people to where they were supposed to be, individuals took the initiative to find a way to make it work. No one complained. They just got the job done. It was a testament to the power of the individual versus the inefficiency of government organizations. A life-changing experience.
Not quite.
That he BELIEVES the words of a False Prophet would be more accurate.
I clicked to see WTF the article was about - “Nets Punt”?
