I hate to say it, but what Axelrod is saying is what I’ve been thinking. With the economy in the toilet, gaffe after gaffe after gaffe, why the hell isn’t Obama down by 20 points? Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but I think this idiot will go down in a landslide and AxelGrease and his ilk know it. The MSM will publish the phoney push polls that show a dead heat with 0blather slightly up, but the campaigns know the straight story. They can’t afford to be blind. They need accurate polls and their internal polls are probably spot on. I base it on the fact that Barry’s campaign has been kind of flailing for weeks, looking for something that sticks. Last week it was Bain this week Romney’s comments about the Olympics. That’s not the mark of someone who’s confident.
