...and these jerks want me to vote for Romney. Yah, right! Doesn’t Cheney know that you don’t insult the conservatives until AFTER the election?

Dick must have had some godless liberal’s heart implanted into his chest as he spoke out against Sarah Palin and endorsed Sodomite Marriage.

I like Cheney, I like Palin but obviously Cheney had 100 times her experience and he thinks that’s important.

With all of the GOOBers, who are supposed to be on “our side”, constantly ripping and blasting Republicans in the “media”, I really don’t see why this country even needs DemocRATS.

I used to like Cheney, but after his daughter “married” her girlfriend with his blessing, I lost all respect for him.

I’ve said all along the GOP doesn’t intend to win the white house. America is a mess and fixing it will require heavy lifting that will bring unrest and they don’t want anything to do with that.

Every candidate other than Romney would have been a far better action candidate but the GOP wanted a soft non threatening globalist who won’t rock the boat.

Never could have remotely imagined it a few short years ago, but I’m now 100% convinced that the GOP establishment would VASTLY prefer to live under an Obama presidency as opposed to a Republican one headed by Palin and/or the tea party. I have absolutely ZERO trust in the GOP leadership nowadays, regardless of issue.

Gary Johnson.

Give 'em what they want and stick your finger in their eye in the process.

Palin supports Condi Rice for VP and she loves McCain. Sarah is not one of us. Get over it.

Does Cheney and the Establishment Really Seek to Fire Obama?

I don't know, "Does" they really?

How dare Cheney have an opinion. Is that even allowed?

Oh, please. Yes, Cheney wants to fire Obamugabe.

The quotes I’ve read from Cheney aren’t an attack on Palin...he compliments Palin, but says a two-year tenure as a governor isn’t sufficient, in his opinion, to be the VEEP.

How is that out of line? It isn’t.

Yes, Palin had more executive experience than Biden or Obama or McCain...which says she was more experienced than any of them, but still not experienced enough in the opinion of Cheney.

One COULD take Cheney’s comments to be more complimentary of Palin and more critical of the other three candidates.

G.W. Bush had 5+ years of governorship of Texas.
Reagan had 8 years of a governorship of California.
Clinton had 8 years of a governorship of Arkansas.

The modern record is pretty clear: governors with a MORE THAN ONE TERM are best suited to the Presidency. (No, I don’t consider Clinton a great President, but he was a two term President like the others.)

Which of course gives one pause for Romney: he only has had ONE term as a governor. But I also believe Romney’s private sector experience makes him a much better choice than Obamugabe.

But I digress.

We conservatives do not do ourselves a favor when we “rush” candidates into the national spotlight. Let our governors succeed for a couple of terms: Walker, Christie, Haley, Scott, McDonnell, Jindal...then when they’ve built a solid record (like Reagan!!!) then they can take their place in the national debate.

I love Sarah, I’ve given to SarahPAC, and I enthusiastically voted for her in 2008. But she is doing God’s work where she is now, and I think it is absurd for us to attack people who, while they like her (didn’t Dick Cheney say that, too?), also believe she wasn’t as fully prepared as she could have been?

Also, anyone find it amazing that SUDDENLY the Obamugabe ass kissing media now is INTERESTED in what Dick Cheney thinks?? :)

I usually agree with Cheney, but here I can’t help but believe another agenda is at work. After all, he can’t think that Idiot Joe Biden is ready to take over, can he?!?!

Sara was a damn sight better prepared than he was. That GOPe coward chickenhawk Cheney. He had better things to do during Vietnam ya know, better than serve in the military. And with his lesbian daughter, porn writing wife, he pushes his open border, NWO, gay marriage philosophy.

A low life if there ever was one. I was THAT close to voting Romney. But he and his clones like Cheney, attacking Sarah before the election are essentially giving me the finger, saying “so what ya gonna do?”.

Unless they kiss Sarah’s ring, my vote is gone and i just want to damage the GOPe all i can so maybe we can have a real chance in 2016.

Dick Cheney did Sarah a favor..who would actually want an endorsement from Dick Cheney? Isn’t he the most hated Vice President ever? Sarah is hated in the establishment..good..because I can’t stand the establishment either. Cheney probably wants Jeb Bush to be the VP..So according to Dick, Sarah Palin didn’t have enough experience to be VP(or President) so I guess that means neither do Chris Christie, Kelly Ayotte, or Marco Rubio right Dick?

“Apparently, Palin’s not ‘ready’ to sit in an administration for eight years which added 5 trillion dollars to our unpaid debt basically demoralizing the spirit of conservatism leading to four years of Barack Obama. Cheney was ‘ready’ for that, wasn’t he?”

Well spoken. As far as I’m concerned, and as far as the truth matters, a man like Cheney loses any and every scrap of credibility earned during his decades in Washington when he makes comments like this.

Note to Dick Cheney et al:

If Mr. Romney manages to win the election for President this coming November, it will be on the coat tails of all the actual GOP-Conservatives that all we grass roots Conservatives will be voting for, for seats in the House and the Senate.

In fact, Mitt Romney’s only chance of getting elected is on those coat tails, as enough of us vote for our favorites in Congress and hold our nose when we pull the lever against Mr. Obama; as a patriot duty, not as a choice.

If Mr. Romney, and you, got out of your dream world and understood that, you’d quit pissing us off so often.

If you have anything further to say against any Republican, you best keep it to yourself or at least swear your friends to not repeat it until after November.

Be on notice - the GOP establishment is walking on very thin ice with a majority block of the GOP voters Mr. Romney needs, and that is part of his present weakness against Obama - a complacent and unenthusiastic base, extremely more impassioned against Mr Obama than they are for Mr. Romney. We are not so desperate that we will put up with a pretend reformer, now or after the election.
