What makes you believe Durbin cares a hoot what the citizens think?

We all know Durbin doesn't give a hoot what we citizens think, but he does care about being re-elected! I also know that ALL members of Congress don't like to have their phones ringing off the wall, their email inbox full of negative emails and fax machines going nuts with letters from voters!!

REMEMBER, whenever elected officials hear from citizens, they KNOW that the total they hear from only represents about 10% of the citizens who would have contacted them because they feel the same way about the issue! So we need to make as many calls, and send as many emails and faxes as we can!

Nobody believes Durbin gives a hoot but he does give a hoot when his phone rings off the wall with outraged taxpayers!
