Well, according to the Boston Globe, that's the latest rumor.
The crowds at political conventions feast on partisan red meat, and they could end up with a bellyful when the Republicans and Democrats meet back to back beginning late next month. An Obama campaign official confirmed to the Globe Wednesday that US Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren is being considered as a possible keynote speaker for the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.
It would give the Massachusetts Democrat a national platform for her high-profile race against Senator Scott Brown, the same launch pad that Barack Obama used to vault into the public consciousness when he was an Illinois state Senator and was tapped to be the keynote speaker at the 2004 party meeting in Boston.
Other than the presidential and vice presidential nomination acceptance speeches, the keynote address is considered the gatherings prime speaking opportunity.
Warren, not unexpectedly, is staying mum on the subject, refusing to say publicly whether or not shes being considered for the prestigious speaking engagement.

As the Charlotte Observer points out -- and as you probably remember -- a charismatic, up-and-coming Illinois state Senator named Barack Obama gave the keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Four years later, of course, he became the 44th President of the United States. In other words, if Elizabeth Warren was chosen to deliver the keynoter this year, it would not only help her defeat incumbent Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) by, among other things, increasing her name recognition, but also indicate party elders genuinely believe she is a rising progressive star.

Me think-em heap good idea ... you bring-em on squaw with high cheek bones!
I hope they do it.
Showcase this phony loon nationally.
Reveal yourselves.
Wonder if she will wear a Cherokee headdress and carry a bow and arrow onto the stage?
Please, oh please, oh please let this happen.
This would indeed be a gift of generational proportions on exposing themselves.
Glad to see they are planning to bring the first-string to the podium. LOLOLOL
good.
To paraphrase Chesty Puller (when being told his forces were surrounde, “Good. We got ‘em right where we want them!”
Lol!...They will be digging their burial place in history even deeper.
Whenever the Dems try to shove a Boston liberal in the face of the American people, more often than not, it doesn’t turn out well for the Dems.
They must believe that, on the next roll, they can capsize the whole ship if they all move to the low side.
It will be a great opportunity to expose this phony b-t-h’s lies—her false claim to be of native American descent and the fact that she used those claims to get racial preferences to which she was not entitled—to the voters of Massachusetts and the rest of America.
Dead man walkin’, Fake Squaw Talkin’.
At this “convention” the “first string” was told they probably shouldn’t even show up.
Keynote for the Charlotte Clown Show?
Perfect!
It might be a better idea to let her just run the fry bread stand at the convention.
Perhaps she will address the rabid rat throngs in her native Cherokee with English subtitles.
If true, the Kenyan is betting the farm on the hardcore parasitic left in this election.
Landslide for Mr. Romney.
Fry bread stand goes bankrupt.
It must be quite galling to the liberalgensia and especially the Dems of Mass, to have St.Teddy's seat held by a Republican. This is another effort by them to remove this blight to their self-esteem, that essential cog in their daily lives.
I can see this now, Professora Warren (aka Fauxahontas) being introduced by Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, speaking to an entranced crowd of hundreds with applause points being led by MINORITY LEADER Nancy Pelosi (remember her jack-in-the-box routine for Obama's speeches - scary!) I wonder if this is going to be in the Bank of America Stadium (contrary to Democrat newsletters, this is not called Panther Stadium!)
I foresee that at least a part of her speech would be the "You didn't build this, government built this ..." theme that Obama has had so much success with since he used it on Friday 13 in Roanoak, VA. After all, she was the politician who started this meme in this campaign season as an attack on Scott Brown and she is now tied to it as a 'FAIRNESS' issue.
Thus, in spite of my fun with the above, I don't think this will happen. Obama and his advisors would love to drive a stake through this issue that Obama hates smart people and small businesses. If Warren speaks, even if she doesn't use this, the memory will still be there and "Pop-goes-the-weasel" all over again. I AM LOVING IT!
Does everyone there get tobacco and booze at Reservation prices, then?
Me send wampum.
