Since you were at a debate were you ever actually able to meet Sarah?
I would LOVE to see your pics! You can FReep mail them too me, or post them here whatever is fine by you.
It's hard for a Republican to win an Election when you have a Democrat on the ticket!
The GOP-E Was probably afraid she would lead them to Victory, and THAT is the last thing the GOP-E is about, they want to be kept in a permanent minority so the Democrats can be the Liberals and they can sit back and Golf.
And it will get worse, count on it.
Lets us know what we're really up against.
Continue to fight and continue to pray.
I remain praying for a miracle in Tampa.
God bless and keep you, Neanderthal Cajun!
You are 100 percent correct D1.
On the question of being ‘ready to serve as President’, there are few people (including me) who would have chosen either McCain or 0bama to be President if Sarah Palin had been running for the same office and not as Vice President. Her conservative credentials, regardless of how one views them, are certainly preferable to the Kenyan Douchebag, and the Arizona ‘Maverick’ (cough, choke, spew). Everyone wishes she had gone after the GOP nomination this year, it is generally accepted that it was hers for the taking IF she had chosen to compete.
She didn’t. And I remember clearly the shrieking, howling, the gnashing of teeth and the fury from some of her supporters right here on FR when she made her announcement that she would not be a candidate, one could almost hear them plucking their own eyeballs out of their sockets, burning down their own houses, and killing their farm animals in a paroxysm of rage.
MANY (not all, but many) of Sarah’s supporters are quite frankly mentally unhinged. As unhinged as the mindless zombies who chanted ‘Hope & Change’ for 0bama-lama-ding-dong 4 years ago.
They did her a disservice then, and some still do.
Is that much different than lobbing an insult when you slink in?
This is from ABC. Who knows what Cheney really said.
Sarah has not endorsed any candidate yet, though Todd endorsed Newt before SC
She has rented a large facility a five minute walk from the convention center
She has not publicly been asked to speak although SHE has said that an announcement would be made in the near future.
SOMETHING is a foot. Palin is very suave politically....... It ain't over folks!........ MOOOOchelle hasn't sung!
And make a fool of myself? Like you?
———SHE has said that an announcement would be made in the near future.———
Could it be...... Sarah is Lucy holding the football again and the trusting Charley Brown is hoping to actually kick the ball this time around?
It’s deja vu all over for me.
“Dick” can KMA. Just another conservative pretender.
In Palin’s case it wasn’t about passively doing the bare minimum of upholding her oath. She went far above and beyond.
If you don’t know how rare it is for a politician to refuse the temptations of corruption when doing so means significant financial, social, political and even family risk—while accepting it would bring significant personal gain—then you really know nothing whatsoever about politics.
Thanks onyx. I knew there were people on this site who could lay this nonsense to rest.
Yeah. These guys really don’t want to hear it, but that was a perfectly foreseeable and perfectly avoidable problem. You want to take McCain down? Fine. No problem. Get a better candidate.
Who knows...But with the followers Sarah has (compare her FB or twitter followers with Mitt’s) The way she draws a crowd and inspired them to get active in what ever way she encourages....vote, write, letters, eat chicken....The following her family, Bristol on DWS, Todd’s following in Iron Dog, and the new show with Hollywood all over them....Plus the books, the videos, the TV shows.
Sarah Palin is a power. She has bargaining power, political clout. She is something that MR must reckon with and the media knows it and are attacking.....Just noticed the comment: this is ABC what did CHeney actually say.
Think about it!
I went and took a closer look. It was her. She's very small in person, I was a tad bit shocked at that. I let out a ech and kept on walking.
Here are my pics of that event.....
Me w/ Thompson's sign (he wasn't there, but it is he whom I voted for in the primary)
Me w/ NY's Peter King....
In our "room"....
My Huntington Conservative buddies I met....
Sean and Mitt before the interviews started....
Romney may win the presidency, but Palin will own the undercard. She will be the de facto leader of the party regardless of that Dicks like Richard say.
Sorry for the delay. I forgot I lost all my pics when my computer died and I had to get it fixed. I had to reload the pics from my camera.
