“[poison] That’s a little strong.”
One of the ingredients of baby formula is fructose, from HFCS and from sucrose, which has been implicated in “metabolic syndrome” including in infants and children. One very well known expert considers fructose a toxin, and talks a pretty good talk.

My son would be dead were it not for formula. He is five years old and cannot take food by mouth. He has a jujenal feeding tube and cannot take blended foods through the tube either. It’s either formula or starve to death. I bristle at the suggestion that I am filling him full of “poison”. There are many reasons for a parent to give their child formula, and while I agree that it is second rate to breast milk, I just can’t call it poison when it has saved his life.
>>[poison] Thats a little strong.<<
Both my kids and my Godson would be dead, see that word, DEAD, without infant formula. My sister nearly starved her son to death because she insisted “Breast is best”. He is now almost blind because of it.
Perhaps you should hold your rhetoric in check. There is a reason why there were “Wet Nurses” before formula. Any organic formula will not have HFCS, including Walmart’s brand. In fact, “Lactose” is listed as the sugar in Enfamil and Parent’s Choice.
Also, getting your medical information from YouTube may not be a good idea.
One very well known expert? Well, I guess that settles THAT question.
Fer crissakes, do you have any idea how many "well known experts" have labeled many, many substances toxic over the last 50 years? Only to be reversed later by other "well known experts".
"It's bad", "No, it's good", "No, it's REALLY bad", "Our bad".
The only reason it has fructose is government regulations keep the price of real sugar artificially high.
One very well known expert does not a poison make.
