Thanks for the link to the web page. Glanced at it briefly but will spend more time later.

I grew up in Kansas. Even though Kansas City spans two states, the Kansas side was more like another country, rather than just on the west side of the river. People from Kansas City, Missouri, whom we thought were snobs, thought we were all country bumpkins.
