A Romney campaign official has blasted Boris Johnson, the London Mayor, as an eccentric, odd fellow whose public attack on the Republican candidate was unbecoming and an indication of his bias towards President Barack Obama. The official said that Prime Minister David Camerons wisecrack about it being harder to stage an Olympic Games in London than in the middle of nowhere an apparent reference to Salt Lake City, where Romney oversaw the 2002 Winter Olympics was probably appropriate, albeit awkward and unfortunate for Romney Johnson on the other hand lived up to his reputation as an eccentric, odd fellow. It was unbecoming to attack Governor Romney in that way. There really was no need. But Johnson made it clear in 2008 that his vote would have gone to Obama.

It is nice to see that Boris can pull his head out of his a$$ long enough to take a breath and say something stupid.
So far, the venues are not nearly as attractive, either.
I felt like I was watching the North Korean Arirang Games when I saw that.
How stupid do you have to be to complain about a London mayor... It makes you look very small as a candidate.
1. Johnny One-Note (AKA Diogenesis)
A one-hitter who repeats the same tired mantra over and over. Its used to described some shrill, tired ideologue or academic that pompously echoes some quaint notion or idea endlessly, and expects everyone to see his supposed wisdom and bow in concurrence.
Not to the chavs and anarchists and welfare queens and baby daddies who keep him in power.
I don't think it's an Olympic sport, at least not yet. :-))
That was his predecessor, Ken Livingstone. Johnson is just your garden variety nutter.
You are the poster child of obstinate ignorance.
He has really put Utah out of reach for Obama in the presidential election.
“Romney and his team need to STFU...”
When you’re a guest at someone’s home for dinner and they ask how the food was, do you...
A) Tell them the truth about how bad it was, or
B) Be a gracious guest, say it was delicious and thank your hosts
Romney is being a very poor guest.
Boris Johnson is a member of the Conservative party. He is not a socialist. He is just a bit off the wall.
I’d be surprised if support or criticism of a candidate in a US election by a foreign politician has much affect one way or the other.
Two reasons:
1. They're mostly socialists.
2. Great Britain, like much of Europe, is being overrun by Muslims.
96% of the UK is NOT Muslim.
92-93% of the UK is white.
Only people who havent been here think we are being overrun.
Sorry about that. I must have been thinking of the previous mayor of London, “Red” Ken Livingstone.
Boris is a bit mad. Red Ken is a bit mad in a different, more sinister way.
He may be a member of the Conservative Party, but he's about as far away from conservative as you can get. It's how he and Ahnuld didn't like each other, they have much in common.
