LONDON A gay man carrying the Olympic torch today on the streets of London was cheered by spectators when he kissed his boyfriend during his stretch of carrying the device that will light the giant Olympic Flame tonight during the opening ceremony that will be telecast by NBC in the U.S. on a tape-delay basis.
Chris Basiurski, who chairs Gay Football Supporters Network in Great Britain, was one of thousands of Britons who were chosen to carry the Olympic torch over the past 70 days as part of the Olympic Torch relay that leads up to the lighting ceremony.
Basiurski told the spectators that he and his partner, James, would be getting married next year.

I think the way to combat it, if you accidentally run across it, is to say “Shame on the media for encouraging two mentally ill men to kiss like a man and woman do.”
Right, this used to be known as common sense.
No wonder Obama said he loves the Olympics.
barfspitpukegag.
Really? A “family” event on TV is shoving this down our throat? This angers me.
I guess I’m not watching it later with my 6 1/2 year old daughter.

Didn’t see him recommending they be beheaded.
Maybe I missed that part of his post. . .
Not really a new world. Roman queers did the same thing, but with the advancement of civilization, open homos were condemned for their deviance. Our society is regressing toward Sodom and ancient Rome and progs and deviants have partly jumped out of the closet again.
I’m done with the Olympics. I really hadn’t even noticed that they had begun, but now I am committed to make sure my eyes do not see any of this crap.
The culture war is in full nuclear mode. Unless we release all our weapons now and continue to bombard the enemy and push back against this kind of crap, then we are certain to lose this war. We can’t win a war we are not committed to winning.
Onward Christian Soldiers!
We should rename gays accordingly. Coprophiles is the best descriptor, IMHO.
Yesterday on LI, US Coast Guard officers responded to a gay and lesbian headquarters to recruit homosexuals.
Last week military personnel marched openly (wearing uniforms) in a gay parade.
Also last week an Air Force officer married his boyfriend after going through an Air Force honor Guard.
Earlier on TV, a show was on where some woman tries to find mates for millionaires. Well the millionaires were both homos and of course the and the contestants were mall male homosexuals.
It was bad enough that Obama has made us a banana republic, now we’re in the sewer.
I think the last Olympics I actually watched was sometime in the mid-eighties. Haven’t been missing much, I see.
I agree. No one can convince me Sodom and Gomorrah were worse than we are now.
Most people, men in particular, are universally revolted with homosexual behavior because it is recognized as mental derangement. Not everything in Iran is necessarily bad and recognizing coprophlia as sick, is one such issue.

Not sure what your point is, no talk of beheading from me either. Justpointing out countries in the real world in which gays kissing publically would lead to arrest, something the original poster was waxing about.
flaming gay torch
Now what was the word for that?
LOL!
