I left for good (I thought) in '98, but Obama had other plans for my life and I recently found myself jobless and holding a very large mortgage. By the grace of God, I got a good job within commuting distance of some family property in Maryland, and with a month to spare before default I sold the Taj Mahal down in NoVA, so I managed a soft landing. I never imagined that I'd end up back here, but here I am. Probabaly for a very long time, since Obamanomics has eaten every dollar that I ever made in the world and real estate values are in the crapper.
But the termites are at work on the liberal edifice here, and good things are afoot. Time will tell.
Yeah, my family just sold my late parents’ home in Ocean Pines basically for the appraised value of the waterfront lot. That was my last link to Maryland aside from 2 of my sisters. Everyone I know who can get out is doing so - before they electrify the fence.
