(Gallup) Poll: Biz owners down on Obama

Business owners resoundingly oppose President Barack Obama’s policies, with nearly 60 percent disapproving of his job performance, according to a Gallup Poll released Thursday.

Fifty-nine percent of business owners said they disapprove of Obama’s job performance, compared with 35 percent who said they approve.

Their approval of the president has fallen from 41 percent in the first quarter to 35 percent in the second quarter of 2012, a drop of 6 points.

This puts business owners with the second-lowest approval in terms of occupational groups measured by Gallup.

The group with the lowest approval was farming, fishing or forestry workers, who disapproved of the president, 57 percent to 34 percent.

They were caught up in the "moment" like swooning teenyboppers at a damn Beatles concert. It's hard to feel any sympathy for them, but I suppose that we have to.

Three and a half years of 40-60% less in gross receipts, or complete failure to meet payroll or afford supplies has a way of getting a business owner's attention.

He only looks black. We all see pics of his mom but no clue of who his real father is. If he looked more like his mothers race would blacks still vote for him?

In 2008, I knew four small business owners (including my wife). I still know all four, but the difference is that none of them own small buisinesses anymore.

Three of them voted for zero. All but one of them blame him for their bad fortune. The lone holdout blames Bush.

All four probably blamed Bush originally, they believed the media's sales pitch.

Sounds like the three had sufficient brain matter to create some heat upsairs. The fourth one? Stuck in a rut, going to be difficult to reach that one.
