I think long run this is going to quietly turn voters against the left. I talked with my son who was a huge Obama supporter in 2008 and told him about the mayors banning this restaurant. He hadn’t heard about it but was pretty outraged. He likes the food and thinks they have the right to believe whatever they want.
Ok leftards, let’s play your game. There are many more cities and states with conservative mayors and governors than there are cities ruled by crazed lefty commies.
Let’s start banning all the homo-supporting businesses from those conservative cities and states, and see how things turn out for the funding of those perverted parades and the lobbying for unholy marriages. And we’ll see how those businesses crash, really quickly.

This isn't going to go away. I've read their "reasoning" and thought carefully about what they are doing, and it's a very old problem. We are facing yet another aspect of evil. Evil never goes away, it just changes how it presents itself. I will be standing up to them calmly but persistently. I will not be quiet when they allow their pathology to intrude into polite conversation or normal social situations. I will speak up, whether about how much I enjoy Chick-Fil-A food or about how important I consider real marriage in sustaining civilization. At least in my presence, I will respond calmly but firmly in a manner that makes this attack on morality a net negative for the far left.
So unlike the Democrats, Chick-Fil-A supports the Federal Defense of Marriage Act.

How do these movements to ban CFA not run afoul of our Constitutional rights, ie, “No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed”. Also, the constitution of every State expressly forbids bills of attainder.

This is a First Amendment violation. CFA should sue every authority that denies a permit to build because of the ceo’s views on traditional marriage. Notice that CFA is not denying gay people from entering their premises and eating CFA.
