President Barack Obama publicly thanked a man the New York Post called a “gay-porn kingpin” at an Oregon fundraiser on Tuesday, according to the Weekly Standard.
While speaking at a Portland campaign fundraiser, Obama thanked Terry Bean for organizing the event. …

That was weird.
When I saw the headline, I remembered that Far Side cartoon with God at His computer with His hand about to hit the "Smite" key on the Cosmic Keyboard and thought "Looks like we're ready for you to hit that "Smite" key now, God."
Just as I finished that thought, the dial tone on my speaker phone just came on for no apparent reason. That has never happened before and the timing was so interesting it made me wonder if that's one of the signs I keep asking for, if Homeland Security is Beta testing again or if the house is as haunted as I thought?
