I’m actually thinking that abc probably is correct about what the mom said. The producer that spoke with her took detailed notes of their conversation, and the report I read this morning said that the mothers lawyer called abc and asked if there was a recording of the conversation, at which point when informed that there was not, the mother then came out and made her statement. I bet the mom either said something she regrets or doesn’t really know what exactly she said.
