The goal of the Left is to divide to keep separate. That’s how they keep power.
When they say inclusiveness they mean within the Venn Diagram of liberal thought. Anything outside of there is Indian Territory. Think circling the wagons.

I ate there yesterday just to show my support. The place was packed! Families were jammed in there. It was good to see. I listened to the various conversations and they were mainly about the homosexual agenda to “convert our kids”, “to steal our children”, “to make everyone think being gay is normal”, etc. These parents were concerned. I heard one older lady remark, “..that Ronald guy at McDonalds is just too creepy for me.” That one made me laugh.
Those parents knew their children were under assault by the faggots and they were commenting on their children’s safety. One group, and I assumed several were teachers by their comments, were commenting on the need for classroom monitors, which was happening, whereby mothers would volunteer for classroom duty and use the opportunity to help keep the homosexual agenda out of their child’s classroom. One lady comment, “The things they think we’re supposed to present to the kids has kept me up at night. They don’t force us to use the materials but they keep tabs on who doesn’t. I won’t use the materials but without your support my life at the school would be short lived.”
I sat there for over an hour listening to these conversations. What we read on FR is not even the tip of the iceberg compare to what these ladies had to say. The propaganda pushed onto the schools is sly work. One lady commented on Colors Day at her childs school, whereby the faggot flag, that rainbow colored flag, was the center of attention about colors. She knew it was the faggot flag but wasnt able to stop the Colors Day and that bothered her tremendously. Another lady remarked that she didnt know that was the faggot flag and thought that it was a really nice day they had learning about colors. Sly, real sly. She seemed disturbed that the faggot flag flew right under her nose in her childs classroom and she didnt know it.
One woman remarked that her school stopped having guest speakers the school system offered because you never knew just what agenda they were bringing into the classroom. She remarked it seemed odd that a 1st grade classroom would even need or use guest speakers but the practice is commonplace now.
Our children are under assault by homosexuals. Supporting Chick-Fil-A and other businesses that stand up to them is more important now than ever.
Never was a fan of the Muppets anyway. They won’t be missed.

I recall some Reform "rabbi" throwing away his boy scout patches in protest against their "anti-gay" stance. I wish I could ask him why he accepted them in the first place. The point, of course, being that Leftism constantly changes, creating new sins where none had existed before. It doesn't matter that everyone (including Reform "Judaism") was against homosexuality until fairly recently. A new sin (homophobia) had been created and everyone suddenly had to disavow it.
I wonder what their next new sin will be?

The part of you OP that I most agree with is that this is just the (head of the) company’s religious view. In other words, the company isn’t doing anything AGAINST gays. It just quietly says it supports traditional marriage.

Yes, I agree, and the “shut up an [make chicken] comparisons thus aren’t quite fair.
This isn’t a guy who, when you come in to pay money for chicken, forces views on you, as did the Vichy Chicks when they forced paying concert-goers to listen to political screeds.
I agree with you, but there is a huge difference between the president of Chick fil A quietly answering a question on a radio show, on the one hand,
and (to give just one recent example) Nabisco’s choosing to insert itself into the Gay Stuff debate by Facebook-posting a big fat “rainbow Oreo” with “Pride” underneath it. They also ran big nationwide print ads.
The latter is essentially unavoidable. In contrast, no one gets forced to hear/ see any “viewpoint” just by going to Chick fil A, nor does Chick Fil A include any views in their advertising.
So if Chick fil A isn’t PERFECTLY neutral in terms of what it exposes customers to, it is very close. The only way it could be “perfect” is if Mr. Cathy had said, “No comment.”
Maybe 1.4%. Certainly not 14 percent, not even in San Francisco is it 14 percent. Yet, somehow numbers like that get propagated out as fact.
