[Conservative Vermont Vet]

To: Conservative Vermont Vet Thank you, thank you, thank you - for your post, which points out what is so unflinchingly obvious to most sane and rational adults!!! That's what it boils down to - isn't it? This election is going to go one of two ways - Obama or Romney. I believe this is mostly motivated because Romney is a Mormon. Obama is a Muslim, and if you think for one minute that doesn't have an impact on the things he does - YOU ARE DELUSIONAL.

How crazy do you have to be to think that an Obama victory is better than a Romney victory? With Romney, we live to fight another day - with Obama - we just die, THERE WILL BE NO TOMORROW. I grieve to think there are some conservatives (tiny minority that they are) that are planning to not vote for president or to vote for someone that cannot possibly win. We CANNOT withstand four more years of Barack Hussein Obama.

GOD will turn his back on us - possibly forever - if we let Obama win again.

I have to laugh at those who keep advancing as fact that Mormons are NOT "Christians" and though I'm not certain if that is so....(as a Catholic I admit not knowing enough about that religion) but I do know (probably as much as ANY Freeper here) about the "Religion of Pieces" and how dangerous it is to our Safety and Survival....and as yet, NONE who hate Mitt or Mormons can produce anything which shows (TODAY and NOT 150+ years ago) that Mormons or Mormonism is in any way a threat to our Republic as is Islam/Sharia.

And considering Dear Leader appears to have embraced and welcomed those practitioners thereof into his Administration and appears to be willing to allow Sharia to replace our Constitution.....SCARES the hell out of me.

Much as the same as Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism. Taoism and Confucianism, do not worry me as does Mormonism, that of ISLAMISM (which is more pernicious, eeevil, and dangerous than all the "isms" we have faced in the past...Communism, Fascist, Nazism....COMBINED) should concern ANYONE who considers themselves a "Conservative" and "Patriot."

I think a point that you may be missing is that this really isn't about Romney. It is about mormonism. They sincerely believe that mormonism is harmful to their eternal souls. They are using the candidacy of Romney to spotlight mormonism. If Romney wasn't mormon, there would still be a lot of angst about him (witness McCain). But this small group of folks are actually not attacking Romney, but are instead using Romney to (in their words) expose mormonism.

They feel it is a requirement as Christians to do this. And, to be honest with you, I respect that.

My problem is that recently the discussion has become something beyond witnessing. It used to be that a civil discussion could be had. But no longer. Some of the drive-by postings recently are becoming difficult to distinguish from posting-while-drunk. You can picture some of them having to wipe their mouths of the foam and spittle when they are done.

And in the end, it probably turns off more of their intended audience than they would like.

I trust that when Romney is done (one way or the other) they will continue to post about mormonism. Just as they were long before Romney was a national figure.

I just hope that the expose becomes a little quieter so that folks can actually hear and follow.

Oh; you are quite right; but if you add "CHRISTIAN"; then suddenly the dynamics change in this hellish equation.

"Conservatism" and "Patriotism" are but pale imposters of the One who brings REAL freedom!!
