I only voted Democrat once in my long life. That was when I proudly voted for Zell Miller for Governor of GA. He was a great governor.

I love Zell Miller and wondered just the other day what had happened to him. I just wish he had changed his party affiliation when he had his epiphany back during the Bush presidency. He’s one of only a handful of Dems I can respect at all!

Depends on the definition of "good Democrat", like said above. Today you're only "good" if you're "evolved" on abortion, gay marriage, weak US defense, kooky environmentalism, affirmative action, etc. Time was you could find a lot of conservative dems. Now they're as rare as hen's teeth.

Heck Jimmah in 1976 was pretty conservative at least socially. But he's "evolved" into an anti-American modern liberal nutball.
