ABC: Fire Brian Ross and Stephanopolous — NOW.

I wonder if the ABC News staff also searched the membership rolls of the local Democrat Party to see if a Jim Holmes belonged to that organization? (sarc)

ABC and the rest of the media will not stop this type of message manipulation unless forced to by legal or financial pressure. There also have to be personal consequences to those who perpetuate these acts. Otherwise, they will issue their fake apologies on twitter or the back pages and laugh at us while they do it again.

Excellent take and conservatives would do well to continue to hound this story, for it is a breathtaking confirmation of what we have been saying about the left-controlled media for decades now. That he did in the first place is bad enough. That they didn’t fire him within the hour is even worse. That he continues to be employed at ABC says they care more about their liberal agenda than they do about professional integrity.
The last several years the leftist media have gotten downright brazen about displaying their biases. Perhaps they think they are so powerful now that it doesn’t matter, that they can’t be held accountable anymore and don’t have to worry about any backlash for ‘coming out of the closet’ as left-wing operatives. Depending on what happens here with ABC, maybe the lefties are right.

It's hardly deniable that ABC is a leftist network and their 'news' shows are little more than left-wing propaganda. So, when ABC 'reporter' Brian Ross excitedly 'discovered a connection' between the movie theater murderer James Holmes and the TEA party and (former Bill Clinton confident and White House Communications Director)
Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos thanked him for it the exchange simply reflected the inherent biases of both men and the network that pays them. Only those who don't pay attention should be surprised.
Still, Ross should be fired - but that probably won't happen as he was just doing his masters bidding. Perhaps this blatant attempt to smear conservatives will wake some folks up but I'll believe that when I see it happen. However, it will give conservatives some ammunition when the lefties start shouting that Fox News 'lies'.

I have to say that I still get a chuckle out of the tweets following this uproar. Things like “Brian Ross is a convicted sex offender in FL!”, followed by, “Oops. Wrong Brian Ross.”
