Media Bias: ABC News quickly apologized after one of its reporters tried to tie the Colorado massacre to the Tea Party. When will the network apologize for the blatant media bias that led to this monumental screw-up?

I have to say that I still get a chuckle out of the tweets following this uproar. Things like “Brian Ross is a convicted sex offender in FL!”, followed by, “Oops. Wrong Brian Ross.”

What really burns me is that James Holmes is a common name. Probably a lot of guys got crap, but the fact that Ross SINGLED OUT a particular Tea Party Jim Holmes makes this slander. I really don’t see how an “oopsie” makes everything OK. Ross and ABC intentionally did this man harm. I think a good lawyer could prove malice.
