On the evidence of last weeks Republican campaign events, President Obamas instant classic You didnt build that is to Mitt Romney what that radioactive arachnid is to Spider-Man: It got under his skin, and, in an instant, the geeky stiff was transformed into a muscular Captain Capitalism swinging through the streets and deftly squirting his webbing all over Community-Organizerman. Rattled by the reborn Romney, the Obama campaign launched an attack on Romneys attack on Obamas attack on American business. First they showed Romney quoting Obama: He said, If youve got a business, you didnt build that. Somebody else made that happen. And then the Obama team moved in for the kill: The only problem? Thats not what he said.
Indeed. What Obama actually said was:
If youve got a business, you, you didnt build that. [Interjection by fawning supporters: Yeeaaaaah!] Somebody else made that happen.
(snip)
If this is the best all the kings horses and all the kings men can do to put Humpty Dumptys silver-tongued oratory together again, they might as well cut to the chase and argue that accurately quoting President Obama is racist.

Great article. Thanks for posting.
Steyn ping. Hilarious.
OF COURSE any quoting Barry is:
WAAAYSSSISSST!!
Whatever would make you think different?? It’s 2012, after all—AND an election year (Barry permitting).
Barky’s mouth sealed his fate.
THAT is priceless!
Mark Steyn sure has a way with words, doesn’t he. And he lays it on the line just as it is. Whenever he is filling in for Rush, I always make it a point to listen, and it’s always a real treat!
And in his typical witty fashion he reminds us that Obama has not yet built anything that would help a business, in spite of the fact that he has spent more than ever before in history.... certainly no “Golden Gate Bridges” or “Hoover Dams” can be credited to this president.
Way to go Mark.... we LOVE YOU!!!
What Obama actually said was:Sorry Barry but I think Grace Slick disagrees with you.
If youve got a business, you, you didnt build that. ..
I hate to admit it but I thought she was really hot. Granted she was a falling down drunk, but still 'a hot drunk' ;-)
note: all rumors about Grace 'being easy' back then are false.
....and we should be treated to plenty more as that blowhard BO hits the campaign trail without a TelePrompTer. He blows it every time. The only question is whether it gets reported by his media.
Rock n’ Roll!
It's from Twisted Sister We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore (with lyrics). So mr pResident, sit back and sing along while you eat breakfast.
:-) Yep, good ole R&R. It's ironic how some songs can have a real meaning and/or message decades later. I've posted the Beatles 'Taxman' before on many 'Tax The Rich' threads as that song now describes the Dem party to a tee.
I get up between 4:00 and 5:00 am and if there's some song in my head I'll start playing a YouTube Video of it (like Stevie Ray Vaughan's 'Pride and Joy') - then one song leads to another. They don't seem 'loud' to me, but to my wife they sure do ;-)
Sometimes I get so pumped by a song I want to get out a guitar and my Amp there and then and Jam along. Thus far I've controlled myself. But when I get that new 100 Watt Fender Amp later this month I've been drooling over....anything may happen.

Wasn't Barak Obama Stein's English teacher? Must have been . . .
Some of the best signs I’ve ever seen. Priceless!
This should be replicated everywhere! Fantastic idea!
Wasn’t that a pancake I see on your head, ALPAPilot? Must be.... because I can’t understand what you are trying to say!
Regarding building the dam....
Then there is this......
The Hoover Dam was built by a construction company called Six Companies Inc, which was actually a consortium of several companies: Morrison-Knudsen Co., Utah Construction Co., J. F. Shea Co., Pacific Bridge Co., MacDonald & Kahn Ltd. and a joint venture of W. A. Bechtel Co., Henry J. Kaiser, and Warren Brothers. The reason these construction companies got together was simple: no single construction company could raise the $5 million needed to secure the performance bond.
They laid it all on the line and took a risk knowing they had the skill to negate the risk
