Aurora and gun control can buy the left up to two weeks of diversion from just how bad ozero was doing in the polls,his brilliant take on small business and the rest of their imminent self destruction that was well under way.Its a huge gift for them.Look for John McCain to mandate a new law that stops all campaigning indefinitely any time the left is losing.

Right. And the Aurora atrocity was a prime example, per morning reports.

Perp booby trapped his apartment -- it took about 3 weeks to set up the intricate wiring of explosives.

The Perp turned on his stereo/radio loud and apparently left the apartment around the midnight of the movie premiere. A resident was awakened, became annoyed, and went to the apartment. She knocked on the door, but got no answer. She said she started to open the door, because the door seemed to be unlocked, but she got an eerie feeling and decided to call police instead. [Apparently, by then, the atrocity has already occurred and the police were engaged at the theater. Ironically, that may have saved lives of residents and responders to the apartment noise. Had police responded, they might have opened the door and set off the explosives.]

Had she opened the door, per police, the resulting explosion would probably have destroyed the entire 3-story apartment building; thus, killing those inside.

This Perp apparently planned for about 2 months -- taking time to order materials via the [eeeeevil] Internet. Some 90 packages were sent to his office. He apparently spent about $15k on these materials.

This Perp was bent on killing. His intent included guns, but also extended to explosives. Supposition: had guns not been available, he would have found alternatives -- such as explosives that included gasoline.

I just went off on a tangent.

I always sit on an aisle in a movie theater because I am a diabetic and need to often use the restroom. But I’m also aware of other movie goers and am subconsciously tuned to weird behavior.

Several years ago my wife and I were watching a movie and I noticed some teenagers laughing and conversing quietly... Yet the kept looking over their shoulders and laughing even more. Suddenly they got up and left. I was completely aware by then! Immediately I started to cough, as did my wife and everyone else. I grabbed my wife and ran out! She was pissed at me. But then everyone started to come out, hacking, coughing, eyes watering... Those kids had let off a pepper spray bottle when they left. My wife and I escaped easily due to situational awareness. Not so much for the others. Several people had to be taken away by ambulance...

Still, we all got multiple free movie passes from the theater on that one!

He doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, if you ask me. I got to thinking Colorado Springs should set up a perimeter and keep everyone else out. Maybe a moat.

Am reminded of a description of Hickenlooper’s type from a web site called Cripes Suzette: Lots of guys who look like the Lost Boys of Never Never Land, all riding around on bikes with backpacks on.

My husband worked in Denver for a year and a half and was a fish out of water there. Lots of people playing tennis, biking, hiking, etc. Hubby likes to drink beer and smoke. LOL!

Feinstein is so concerned of the guns the Perp used. She ignores the explosives that could have demolished the 3-story apartment building and surrounding area.

Johnson brings up the explosives and says that a deranged individual, bent on killing, will find a way and the methods to do it.
