“Holmes spent about $15,000”
Which begs the question- who was bankrolling this guy?
EXACTLY! One of the earlier stories CLAIMED he was “unemployed”...I am not into tin foil hats, but I seriously doubt this fella did this on his own...he got that money somewhere...and Im guessing NOT from his daddy.
My first thought...fifteen thousand????
exactly, who was giving him the dough?
Probably us. Through Eric Holder.
He may have put his purchases on his credit card, figuring that when the bill came due he would be dead.
” Which begs the question- who was bankrolling this guy?”
Preppers?? That was a joke...
“Which begs the question- who was bankrolling this guy?”
Possibly a dozen or so credit card companys. It’s not like he was gonna be worried about paying them off.
...Which begs the question- who was bankrolling this guy?...
My guess ... Student loans.
Now some of the witnesses are saying that someone in the theater let him in that door. What kind of guy gets geared up to do something like that and gets taken alive? And the reports from the jail of him spitting on the guards thinking he is in the movie. I'm thinking the shooter was supposed to be killed and the apartment blown up to obliterate evidence and scare us even more. Whoever ran this op screwed up and he lived and the bombs did not go off. Here's hoping they get his recruiters and programmers.
The MOTHER knows the answer to your question. She knew all about it. That is the big mystery, and why (unfortunately, because I am already sick of it) this story will remain on the front page for weeks.
His M&D’s tuition checks?
My first reaction as well.. This isn’t chump change. Investigators should spend more time on his financing than his Internet purchases. He spends $15k to shoot people in a movie theater? I want to know why the cops refrained from going to his apartment earlier that night to tell him to turn down his loud techno music.. There were complaints phoned in.
Visa?
Which begs the question- who was bankrolling this guy?
Good question - More than meets the eye here I think...

This is why the authorities are being so careful about opening up his apartment. There is surely much evidence in there.
Probably used a student loan to fund these purchases.
Probably the same ones who were bankrolling his education.
Someone in his status could have had several credit cards and decent credit limits if he'd used them responsibly in the past.
I read he was on unemployment.
He could have bought it on credit.
