As was already known, but not PC enough to be recognized OWSers are “Statsfiendlshers”, to use an old German term.
It's not that uncommon; there are programs to do a Ph.D. straight from a Bachelor's. I don't know much about them, but I have heard of them.
Funny thing, at one place I worked that was getting super PC liberal about the language used in business communiques, there was a studious effort to eschew the word “black” in any pejorative context, such as “black list,” because such usage might suggest a negative attitude towards black skinned people. So for OWS to have a “black bloc” that isn’t about racial issues is not only confusing, but flies in the face of what liberals say they are about.

My guess on the arsenal is he just bought the stuff on credit card. He knew he would either be dead or in prison so he was not worried about paying it off.
As for the accuracy, in a packed theater, it would be hard not to hit someone with every shot.
I always wondered that myself when you see them throwing flaming bottles and bricks they cover their faces. Show your smug little face if you are so proud of your actions.
