Who’d a thought that being a student would pay so well? That’s some expensive artillery.

Yah beat me to it. Great minds and all that rot. lol

Was thinking the same thing. How does a student manage to come up with the loot to buy all that hardware and don't know what kind of car he was driving, but it was not a Klunker either?

Financial Aid and Student Loans?

Even then, when I was in college (having availed myself to both as well as working 2 jobs and that was many moons ago) I was not exactly rolling in it and lived very frugally.

My thoughts too. He was unemployed receiving unemployment payments. How could he afford so much ammo and so many fine weapons? AR-15s ain't cheap.

Who says he paid for it? If he ordered by credit card knowing what he was going to do, how’re the card companies going to collect?

Good point. It is becoming obvious that this guy is no ordinary mentally deranged individual, but part of an orchestrated event. Everything points to this all being deliberately done to point to this event as a reason for confiscation. And, the media is going to allow it to happen because they won't do their jobs.

Someone has already pointed out that his meek surrender seems very odd after shooting 71 people. A lot of valid questions are going unanswered and something is VERY strange about all of this.

You know that’s what I would like to know, if this kid was out of work or was working part time at McDonald’s where did he get the money? That just doesn’t seem right, at all.

Indeed....this suggests outside funding. We don't know yet the inventory of threats inside his apartment but whatever is discovered adds to the cost of his ongoing spree.

My.....what's the cost of a couple Glocks and an M-16 (heard various descriptions of this weapon) all the ammo and all the gear he purchased? Doubt that he got the bucks from dear old mom and dad for college. And all in 60 days??

The punk could have charged it all with no intention of ever paying the bill.

One of my scopes was more than most of his ‘arsenal’.

Yes! Almost like someone else gave him the money to purchase these weapon’s. Someone who would need an event like this,as a reason to push for the Second Ammendment destroying,’UN Gun Ban Treaty’,which Obama is rumored to be signing next Friday, the 27th. Someone like the Obama administration. That’s not sarcasm.

Most likely he used his student loans and grants. He didn’t register for another semester at school.

Grad school grants would easily buy everything with money left over.

He never held a job. Mommy and daddy bought all his toys.

If this guy was accepted into a PhD program in science, it is likely he was on a fellowship. Could have been getting $25,000 a year. Of course, he would be expected to do a lot of research for one or more professors. So, if this is the case, he is not exactly unemployed.

I would think he could have gotten a real nice credit card based upon his high likelihood of being able to eventually pay it back.
