NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the gunman suspected of attacking a crowded movie theater in Aurora, Colorado resembled Batman’s arch-villain “The Joker” at the time of the shocking attack.
“We have some information, most of it is public. It clearly looks like a deranged individual. He had his hair painted red, he said he was ‘The Joker,’ obviously the ‘enemy’ of Batman,” Kelly said at a news conference after noon.

Yep nuttier than most Leftists actually. I’m perplexed that no one mentions that he acted out at this venue specifically and what that should inform us. Obviously this is a dark and violent fantasy film franchise and disordered minds are prone to getting swept up in it. This should be the focus, IMO, not inanimate objects-guns. There are other ways to commit mass murder, and someone like this would find a way. A disarmed and helpless society will always be at their mercy. It’s not hard.
