“...ABC just retracted and apologized for their story...”

Maybe so...

But the smear is out there already. Kind of illuminates what their mental processes are that they’re googling “Tea Party” and “James Holmes” while the blood of the victims is still wet on the ground.

They’re pathetic, subversive asswipes desperate to see their Boy Blunder re-elected, and they will do anything - whatever it takes - to make it happen.

You’re entirely correct, though - we should pray for the victims and families.

Of course it was scary for them - they’re unarmed, have no way of defending themselves from a lunatic, and their safe, normal, peaceful little worlds have been irreparably shattered.

Not easy to get back to normal, for sure.

I’d like to see how many of the folks in that theater had CCWs and were prevented from carrying by the Cinemark theater’s “No CCW Firearms” policy... being “law-abiding” got some folks killed by a guy who wasn’t “law-abiding”.

How many people who heard the Tea Party connection will even know ABC retracted it? The first impressions usually wind up sticking no matter what. Mission Accomplished for the Drive-by Media.

Agreed. See my post at #99. The victims mean squat to them, other than as tools.

Kind of like how Tom Hayden whipped dumb-ass ignorant lefties into a frenzy in 1968 in Chicago, then sat back and watched in satisfaction as they got their heads pounded in.

They were just tools to him. Useful idiots. Many in the media regard these victims in the same way. How many conversations do you think have taken place between members of the media since the shooting, spoken in that low, faux tone of injury and outrage: "...It is shameful. Isn't it terrible? But you know, it will be a good thing in the end if this helps outlaw gun ownership..."

I would bet money on that.

Damn that is my question too and I really hope someone finds out. That to me would be the most important thing to come out of this. Quite frankly if the shooter was a Tea Party person, I would not care one bit...hang em anyway. But that CCW license would be most important to find out.

"But the smear is out there already."

Reminds me of Perry Mason:

Mason to witness: "Would this have any relationship to your prior convictions of domestic assault and bigamy?"

Hamilton Burger: "Objection, your honor!"

Mason: "I withdraw the question."
