Think about it: 50% of people in this country don’t pay taxes. I would guess more than 50% of those people are on some sort of government assistance and would scream bloody murder if it was pulled from them.
Sadly, Chuckie Todd is right. 50% of the people in this country probably do believe Obama’s way of thinking, and if every one of them shows up to vote in November, we truly are in big trouble.
Thanks to Holder’s DoJ, however, there will be plenty more than 100% of them voting, and even if they get caught, they won’t be prosecuted.
I think that the percentage is lower, but still very large. Many people are just in Obama’s congregation yelling ‘Amen’ in the hopes that he might throw their group a bone.
I still think that maybe 70% of Americans still believe in Individual Opportunity. But hey, I’m feeling optimistic this morning!

Chuck Todd is right. Half the country believes in “Gimme gimme gimme and make someone else pay for it.” Its the end result of the Welfare State corrupting our morals.

I don't think Romney or Todd were using the word "collective" in the sense of the definition in the article or the fourth definition from dictionary.com. And neither of them used the word "collectivism", at least not first.
Useful idiots who help the leftists steal the language derailed the conversation by defaulting to the Marxist usage of the word "collective".
If there is anyone on the forum who thinks they can get along as well as they do now without the whole, combined assets and characteristics of the society in which we live, let them speak up. But that means people who could be dropped naked into the jungle, forest or tundra and not just survive but thrive.
Hey chuckie, how about if we confiscate all of your assets and belongings and redistribute them to the “collective”. We can then pack you off to a collective farm or collectivist state factory where you can toil for the masses for the rest of your worthless life.

Chuck Todd is right, as far as it goes. But what every last moron who supports “collectivism” actually believes is, “What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine, too.” Count on it. As Dear old Dad always said, “Once the parasites outnumber the hosts, it’s all over.” I fear we have breached that point. The Democrats have won.
The next election (House and Senate, mainly) absolutely will determine if America truly is dead as a doornail.
