Bumping that new FReepathon thread!
Times are tight, but I made a donation because of the importance of this site. Thanks for all JimRob.
BUMP to truth on new FReepathon thread!
Woo hoo!!
Please welcome longtime monthly donor, Rockyrich, to the Monthly Donor Club!!
Thank you very much, Rockyrich!! Welcome to the Monthly Donor Club!!
Must donate.
Let’s giterdone Freepers!
I’ll make a $100 contribution tomorrow, Jim. I don’t post anymore because. Just because. But I believe in FreeRepublic and you. I believe this forum is important and that’s why I read it every day....even though I don’t post anymore because...I support Mitt Romney. My first love was Rick Perry but you know, things happen. I wish FreeRepublic all the success in the world through these tough times. I only post now because my name doesn’t always show up on the list of donors. This is a committment and I know everyone else is committed to you too.
You have already collected my monthly donation, but can you hit my CC again for another $20 toward the servers?
I'm gonna challenge the monthly donors to make their July donation a double tap.
Let's git 'er done!
Still, $1 a day is affordable by just about anybody. If you use this site on a regular basis, consider being a $1 a day contributor. A cup of coffee at Dunkin Donuts costs me $1.82 and I drink coffee every day. Free Republic stimulates me much more than a cup of coffee.
Back in the day, I used to subscribe to newspapers and magazines. I used to spend over $100 a month on newspapers and magazines. Now I subscribe to only one of them (Wall Street Journal). Because I get almost all my news from the Free Republic. Plus, I get to give my two cents as well. I used to write the Boston Globe but they never cared about what I had to say. I write to Free Republic and my comments show up instantly and people get to agree with me or tell me I'm an idiot. Either way, I'm okay with it. I get my opinion out there and others get to feedback on it. I wouldn't have it any other way.
So by canceling all those other newspapers and magazines put out by the mainstream media, I get to contribute a dollar a day to Free Republic and still come out ahead.
Count me in. From up Canada way in Great Lakes Country.
"Our own Country's Honor, all call upon us for a vigorous and manly exertion, and if we now shamefully fail, we shall become infamous to the whole world. Let us therefore rely upon the goodness of the Cause, and the aid of the supreme Being, in whose hands Victory is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble Actions -- The Eyes of all our Countrymen are now upon us, and we shall have their blessings, and praises, if happily we are the instruments of saving them from the Tyranny mediated against them. Let us therefore animate and encourage each other, and show the whole world, that a free man contending for Liberty on his own ground is superior to any slavish mercenary on earth."-- George Washington, 1776
"It should be the highest ambition of every American to extend his views beyond himself, and to bear in mind that his conduct will not only affect himself, his country, and his immediate posterity; but that its influence may be co-extensive with the world, and stamp political happiness or misery on ages yet unborn."
-- George Washington, 1789
"The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained."
-- George Washington, 1789
