I recently discovered the world of K-Drama (Korean one season shows), especially the romantic comedies.

I like the romance better than anything on US television. The closest thing to sex is a morning after scene where shoulders are shown (some married couples are in matching pajamas). The raciest so far had a guy in boxers getting out of bed and putting his pants on. That’s all you get. Female lead characters do turn down their partners and waiting until marriage is as common as sleeping together as engaged couples or seriously dating couples. The only one night stand (which really wasn’t) had an ugly aftermath.

Because there is no focus on bed scenes like in the U.S., there is a lot more sensuality, romance, and conflict. The
characters seem much more respectful of their bodies and sex in general. I wish we had a TV station that aired these. I bet they’d have quite a cult following.
