I’ll probably be in the minority on this, but he did the right thing.
It’s one of those d*mned if you do, d*mned if you don’t situations. If he hadn’t addressed her characterization of Obama, he would have been criticized. And all he said was, “That isn’t a term I wouldn’t have used.” Or something like that. it was mild.
