Actually she deserves to deliver the acceptance speech ..... Which would be painfully obvious if she were to appear because she would suck all the oxygen out of the room. They want to avoid the comparison ... Sarah vs. Mitt .... true excitement/passion vs. 'not Obama' .... conservative vs. Obama-lite ..... etc.
