George Romney was vetted when he ran for president.
GR was born in Mexico to two parents both US citizen, which made him a RM a US citizen.
MR was born on US soil.
Rubio is as ‘eligible’ as George Washington, Ronald Maximus, and BJ Clintoon. Get with the program!!!
I think both can be persuaded to act conservative on the issue and I fear if we get too nit picky Mitt will go Pawlenty, Rice or Christie and then we get four more years of the brown Bolshevik.
We don’t need a VP candidate who’s going around pushing amnesty plans. Didn’t the party learn anything from the huge rifts caused by the W/Rove amnesty pushes in 2006 and 2007?
Rubio talks a good game but is soft on border control. IOW, he’s another RINO.
If Chester Arther and Obama set the precedent by getting away with it then since some have gotten away with murder, murder is now legal. Do I have that correct Happy Rain?

George Washington was born a British Subject but was “grandfathered” in under Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 “...or a citizen at the time of the adoption of the Constitution,...” because there were no “natural born” American citizens age-eligible at the time the Constitution was written/ratified.
To our knowledge, unless you have evidence to the contrary, both Ronald Reagan’s and Willie Clinton’s parents were all American Citizens at the time of their births.
Rubio, on the other hand, was born a dual-citizen. Cuban based on the fact that both his parents were Cuban Citizens and an American Citizen under the 14th Amendment. Not sure how you stretch that to “natural born”.

Rubio in nbC under the 14th Amendment Art 1. since he was not the son of an ambassador or the son of an occupier. He was born in Fla and therefore he is nbC and he accepted the jurisidiction of the US. Therefore he is Jus Solis.

Red and all those who say Rubio is not natural born. Obama asked his good friend George Soros to change all those pesky findings, precedents and laws so they would be easier to understand that anyone who knows someone who owns an hawaiian shirt is a natural born citizen and therefore qualifies for the office of President of this great nation The United States of America. Michigan is also listed as a swing state this year, and Wisconsin may also be in play.

All of that being true, they are still not natural born citizens of the United States, as their parents were not citizens at the time of their birth.
They are eligible for Senator or as Congressmen, as the requirement is only to be a citizen.
Natural born is only for the position of President. But you knew that.
