This comment leads me to believe that you may not really be interested in honest dialogue so I won’t continue with you. I will say though that it is typical of free republic these days, which is why it takes 3 months to raise the funds that used to be raised in a month.

He only has to sit in the seat and sign the bills which will turn some of the current morass around.

I don't think of politicians as saviors. If we get a great one once in awhile it's wonderful. But a large part of the time pragmatism is enough.
