Great post! There are conservatives and not-conservatives.

Boss:
You and I can safely site our consciences here in the Golden State but really, what are our choices?

Norquist, Rove, GOPe all screwed us out of better candidates.

I really detest the political system we have in this country. It decides against my better judgment who I am to vote for. It decides for me whether the political game is to be won or lost. It decides what issues are important for me in evaluating the party’s chosen candidate. It decides for me that I should be focusing on Obama’s policy and ideology when he is not even qualified to hold the office and a total waste of my time. They decide for me that his Constitutional ineligibility is not relevant or controlling when logic says they have with wanton corruption put the cart before the horse.

We have to overhaul this choreographed corrupt political process that is dressed up now as the voters electing their candidate. The whole process is totally demeaning and I am convinced it is conducted just to manipulate and placate us so we will not revolt. These clowns work for us and we should have the ability to freely decide who we want to represent our interests.

So who are you going to vote for Jim that has a snowball’s chance in hell to win? This is no time in this countries circumstance to vote your conscience.

Ya know Jim, having followed a few of these threads it appears pretty clear to me that 99.999999 percent of Freepers have definitively made up their minds.

Either they are gonna vote for Mitt, or they're not.

Just sayin'.....

Well, I’m late to this thread, but I think my position has been pretty clear for some time.

I will not vote for either Obama OR Romney. Both of them are baby-killing, gay-loving, socialistic, narcissistic lovers of themselves, who put themselves above everything else, especially God and their country.

So, what other choice is there? I don’t know, but I cannot in good conscience vote for pure evil, which is what both these men represent. Let’s hope that some way out of this mess presents itself. In any case, it looks as if the Democrat and Republican parties are both dead at this point.

While I agree with everything you say about Romney’s character, and why he deserves none of our trust or confidence, when it comes to casting that one particular vote for one particular office in November, I have to ask this one question: Who is the alternative?

Another question: Who will bring with him to Washington a more evil, demonic horde of political appointees: Romney or Obama?

As an American citizen, my vote is the most precious thing I own...

I wont sell it, compromise it, disrespect it or bargain with it...

It represent who I am and what I hope for my country...

As I am a Christian and a Conservative who loves America, my vote will only go to those men and women who look like me at heart...

None others need apply..

Jim, you and I part company on this rant of yours. I will be cancelling my monthly donation to FR.

We cannot afford four more years of Obama and his pet RATS and don't give me that crap about Romney being "Obama-Lite".

This is an interesting asylum you have created here and the quality of those you have driven off is an indictment of your position.

I know I am only one person, but my vote matters and I will not follow your dictates and cast it for Obama to stick my thumb in the GOP-E eyes.

You had a great run, Jim, but like too many "leaders", you have started to believe your own press releases.

Thank you, Jim.
