Well, I’m late to this thread, but I think my position has been pretty clear for some time.
I will not vote for either Obama OR Romney. Both of them are baby-killing, gay-loving, socialistic, narcissistic lovers of themselves, who put themselves above everything else, especially God and their country.
So, what other choice is there? I don’t know, but I cannot in good conscience vote for pure evil, which is what both these men represent. Let’s hope that some way out of this mess presents itself. In any case, it looks as if the Democrat and Republican parties are both dead at this point.
The Presidency is ONE office. A term in office is FOUR YEARS.
The purpose of voting is not to bring about the Kingdom of God, or Nirvana, or whatever. The idea is to vote for the person who is less likely to destroy the country in the course of a four-year term.
That’s ALL your vote for President signifies. It doesn’t represent your personal, definitive choice for Good or Evil. That occurs at death.
I wish all these people who seem to think that their vote represents some cataclysmic, final metaphysical event would get a sense of perspective. Again: Vote for the person who is less likely to destroy the country during the next four years. Rinse. Repeat in four years.
