“Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”

— Isaiah 28:14-16

>The GOP-e has supported and is about to hand the nomination

1) The LSM targeted conservatives.
2) Conservatives targeted conservatives, ignoring “Reagan’s 11th commandment”

Romney was not targeted by Obama until he secured the nomination.

Romney does not hold many of the positions you cite. Meaning in most cases he changed his position. The clearest is pro choice to pro life

A person who is so willing to "change" their positions on such issues because of political expediency is the same person who will quickly & easily change them back.

Every huffy, self-righteous scold in Mittens' online Sister-Wife Squadron, to date, has failed to answer this simple, elementary mathematics query. Let's see if any can do so this time out (for a change):

********************

Posit the following vote totals, just for the sake of this demonstration:

OBAMA: 1,000,000 votes.

MITTENS: 1,000,000 votes.

OTHER: 11,000,000 votes.

Further posit that my vote is the sole ballot remaining, and yet to be cast.

Demonstrate: How my NOT casting a vote for Mittens increases Obama's vote total from 1,000,000 to any other positive or negative integer, anywhere along the numerical scale.

Use both sides of the paper, if necessary. Show ALL of your work.

Funny, I still don't see those two third-party votes in Obama's column.

It's simple math - a vote for a third-party candidate does not go to Obama. It does not help Romney, but it basically goes off to the side and is not in play.

Try making the case for Romney without inane, worn-out GOP-E talking points. We hear them every four years. I guess it beats the GOP-E actually trying to do something to satisfy the base's core concerns.

Okay, let’s say it’s 7 people voting. 3 vote for VX, 2 vote for Ricin and 2 vote for ice cream. Everybody gets poisoned with VX. If the two that voted for ice cream had voted for Ricin, everybody gets poisoned with Ricin. But if even one of those who had voted for VX or Ricin had instead voted for ice cream, we might still be alive.

The lesser of two evils mentality is destroying representative self-government. As it inevitably must.

The saving of America begins the day conservatives stop supporting what they say they hate. Not a moment sooner.

My guess is Romney will turn out to be good on abortion. His constituents now will be conservatives instead of leftists. In any case, I don’t have any moral problem in voting for Romney.

I don’t understand the point of these posts... we know where you stand. Go for it and enjoy. You’re not going to change. Other people aren’t changing. These posts are just inflammatory.

The chance Romney would nominate or a gop senate would confirm a pro choice supreme court nominee is close to zero.

Obama, 100%.

Speaking for myself they better kill me very dead or else I crawl from my death bed to press the lever AGAINST Obama with my dying breath.

“There remains the one standard that has not yet been universally used, namely, the choosing of candidates on moral grounds. A nation always gets the kind of politicians it deserves. When our moral standards are different, our legislation will be different. As long as the decent people refuse to believe that morality must manifest itself in every sphere of human activity, including the political, they will not meet the challenge of Marxism. Contemporary history proves that modern political leaders, devoid of a moral inspiration and relying solely on a mass basis (might makes right), proves ineffectual in time of crisis."
