I’ve not heard of the original Django series. I will have to look them up as I am a big fan of Spaghetti Westerns. Very little dialog but lots of facial and body language closeups.
You should give them a try. The title character carries a machine gun in a coffin! :-)
Also, I think that you should give some “Borscht Westerns” a shot. White Sun of the Desert has elements that you would recognize from a Spaghetti Western,
