Democrats believe theyve drawn blood with their latest round of distorted and discredited attacks on Bain Capital, the equity firm co-founded by Gov. Mitt Romney. However, the cost of the Bain smears to the Obama brand might actually be the more important storyline emerging from this charade. This blow to the very core of who Obama was supposed to be is highlighted in the Romney campaigns newest ad:
But this is more Mr. RomneyCARE's style:
That’s an effective ad. Having obomo saying himself it would have been more effictive, though.
Horrible ad. Weak, limp.
Geezus, RNC, that’s a very weak ad. RNC, if you’re reading this, here’s a slightly more effective ad idea: make a simple montage of Barry repeatedly saying “The private sector is doing fine.” while image after image of commercial buildings with overgrown weeds/grass and For Lease/Rent signs in front of them scroll by. To really reach the people, display the actual city/neighborhood name where each abandoned building is located. Make a series of these commercials to include more cities and neighborhoods.
I don’t think the ad is weak considering the audience, the add was not meant for us, it was not even meant for republicans. The ad was meant for a bunch of touchy feely independents who would be offended by a strong ad. Those people don’t want truth, they want nice. Keep in mind that they voted for hope and change. Any body stupid enough to vote for Obama to start with or for hope and change when they don’t know what the change can’t handle much truth. They just want someone who will play nice with everyone.
I for one am afraid that Romney will play nice. I’m done with nice. It already past time to kick a$$ and take names.
