Could be that whoever misspelled "Israel" could be forgiven, because it doesn't appear on maps in many Islamic countries./sarc.

More likely, though, the misspeller is a product of New Age dumbed down public school education.

BTW, I've never heard of an organization called "Jewish Americans for Obama," allegedly established in 2007.

The big issue here, though, is the synagogue's sponsoring of a political fundraiser, in violation of the IRS code. Of course, since the fundraiser is for Obama, the synagogue probably need not fear that its tax exempt status will be revoked.

Needless to say, if this were a Republican campaign event, it would be a different story.

But on the positive side, the fact that they are doing this in Pennsylvania probably indicates that they think the state is in play.
