What is "designed" about a double-breasted, 4-button blazers, caps, white pants and white shoes? No one "designed" this stuff... but, I'll bet someone paid a bundle for it.
Why do these outfits have a friggin' Ralph Lauren polo logo on them??
I'm surprised there's not an Obama logo on the lapels.
This was no uniform 'donation'. I hope someone posts the actual cost of the jackets, pants, etc.
Looks like something the UN dreamed up. They were supposed to wear cowboy hats which would have been totally cool but that got squashed by the higher ups. Berets are more “global NWO” dontcha know.
They look very...dapper.
Leave it to a committee to come up with those horrors.
LOL! I can imagine David Spade saying that!
I don’t think gays deserve to corner on the suit market.
I think the uniforms look like 1940s-era classy. (Or, ok, at worst maybe they are channeling Thurston Howell from Gilligan’s Island.) I can see why gays might admire that. But it’s not “theirs”.
Now if these were skinny suits with the ankles showing, yeah those are gay, and they are welcome to ‘em.
I think it also makes a difference that the guys they used for the ad don’t look “All-American”. But Ralph Lauren guys’ faces generally do look like pretty boy gay-bait. That doesn’t affect the cut of the jacket and trousers, though.
Cigar Dave just made an announcement on his Saturday noon radio show that Sen. Chuckie Schumer has a Syracuse, NY garment maker that will work with Lauren in re-designing the "look" of the uniforms and have them ready within two weeks.
The General did not say whether the Olympic Committee is approving this gambit.
Cigar Dave hopes so.....he said the look of the athletes' uniforms is "wussified".

The only man I have ever seen wear a beret was a flaming homosexual.
Evidently this is the image they are going for.
Beaurocrats on holiday.
And kill the berets. I mean gather them together and shoot them full of holes. And them burn them.
This is not Ralph Lauren’s finest hour.
And since I am here commenting on fashion (a very rare occurance) let me add this.
I do not wish that either my athletes or my military be dressed like businessmen. Both are quite special.
Not sure what I would do with the athletes, but the US Army should go back to the “Pinks” of WWII.
